JOIN THE CAMPAIGN TO STOP SEX TRAFFICKING OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
At least 1.2 million children and young people are exploited in the global sex trade each year.
It’s not just happening overseas but right here in Canada too. Although some international trafficking does occur in our country, most often, it happens within our borders, across provinces. Children and youth are forced and/or manipulated into sexual abuse through prostitution (sexual exploitation). Aboriginal girls are at greatest risk.
ECPAT and The Body Shop
The Body Shop is working with ECPAT International to raise awareness and inspire action to end child sex trafficking – the greatest human rights abuse of the 20th century.
At the center of this campaign is Soft Hands, Kind Heart Hand Cream. When you purchase this cream, The Body Shop will donate approximately $6.00 to Beyond Borders.
Visit The Body Shop Stop Sex Trafficking of Children and Youth to learn more about the campaign here in Canada and around the world.
